The Parks Board meets on a regular basis on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public. The Board consists of 13 members appointed by City Council for staggered two year terms. This Board serves in an advisory capacity to City Council on parks and recreation policy matters. Missouri City residence is required to be a member.

The farmers market will re-open with COVID-19 Guidelines in place. You can pre-order, drive thru or vendor purchase on site.
A farmers market that gives local businesses an opportunity to share their products with residents and visitors to our wonderful city. Vendors provide organic and local grown vegetables, fruit, beef, chicken, eggs, baked goods, artisanal foods, food trucks and more. A focus on community involvement and a great place to spend time with family and friends.

Challenge yourself to complete 100 miles in 100 days! This challenge will take place from September 14-December 22. The miles may be accumulated in any form of cardio (run, walk, bike, elliptical, etc.) Track your miles on the log sheet and receive a special 100 mile club shirt when you complete the challenge! Take aim at Missouri City's Archery Program! This session will meet Mondays, September 14-October 12. The fall session features a Beginner Archery class focusing on archery safety, equipment, shooting form, and shooting etiquette and a Explore Archery class that will focus on improving accuracy and consistency through a variety of activities and games. Participants must complete the beginner archery class through Missouri City Parks & Recreation in order to register for the Explore Archery class.
This class is for ages 8-18 and all equipment will be provided. Personal equipment must be inspected before use. Registration is available online, at the Rec & Tennis Center, or by calling 281-403-8637!
