Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's mobile unit is stopping by the Rec & Tennis Center for a New Year's Blood Drive. Start your year off as a hero by donating blood! All successful donors will receive a limited edition hoodie.
Check out our new dual-purpose pickleball/tennis courts located on court 13! Try out pickleball- one of the fastest growing sports in America! Pickleball is a combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. Played on a badminton sized court with a low net. This event will have an open play format; participants can come and go at their own leisure. All levels, ages, and abilities are welcome to break in the new courts.

Drop off your unwanted electronics at our 2018 Electronics Recycling Event hosted by Missouri City Green and the City of Missouri City. FREE event, however, donations are welcomed to help fund future community-wide recycling events. 1 pick-up truck load or less per household.

Tree Planting Competition
Saturday, February 9
Buffalo Run Park (1122 Buffalo Run Blvd)
Cost: $50 registration fee per team
Teams are invited to participate in the 12th annual tree planting competition for the Greater Houston Region. Teams can have 11 persons per team (1 captain, 10 planters) and must bring their own shovels. Each team (3 per organization max.) will plant 100 trees properly while being timed and judged. The event is $50 per team. Lunch and a t-shirt is included for all participants.

Dad & Daughter Dance Saturday, February 9 6:00-8:30 pm Community Center (1522 Texas Parkway) Cost: $30 father/daughter pair, $20 each additional daughter
Save the date for our 23rd Annual Dad & Daughter Dance! This Hollywood themed evening will make your daughter feel like a star! Dinner, dancing, confetti and more will create an evening to remember. Tickets can be purchased at the Rec & Tennis Center or by calling 281-403-8637.
